Our squirrel friends had been missing for some time. I was very happy to see them return this morning. I was starting to fear that something had happened to them.

Sitting in our kitchen, enjoying a cocktail on this cold night, when we suddenly notice this guy.

This is what happens when the squirrels don’t eat their breakfast.

Ok, I can admit it.  I am a little obsessed.  But there is just something so relaxing about visiting with our squirrel neighbors on the weekend.

And they must be getting used to us being around, because I was sitting right in the window with my camera, and they did not seem to care.

New Year, same old me.  Forget to take a picture then run around the house looking for something to take a picture of before I head to bed.

Our white squirrel is getting quit brave. He sat outside our back door and quietly ate his breakfast this morning. But he kept on eye on me at all times. He did scurry off when I stood up to refill my coffee cup.

Bravery only goes so far.
