Tom 365 – June 30, 2015

We had to celebrate a day early. She is a busy teenager with a very full schedule.

Happy Birthday, Molly.

Emergency Room visit tonight. My daughter jammed her middle finger. Luckily there was no break.

I am hoping it is not too late to teach an old dog a new trick. Early birthday presents for my daughter and me. She will be 16 and I will be 50.  She already plays the flute and the piano. I play old cassette tapes.

I will let you know how it goes.

With all the wet weather this year, we really didn’t have time to do much planting in the Spring. But sometimes nature just kicks in. We  have got a nice bunch of daisies this year.

The original Comiskey Park pinwheels are located inside the Bullpen Bar at U.S. Cellular Field.

Very cool.

The mosquitoes chased me away early from my walk, but not before I took a few pictures of the damp wooden boards of the bridge in the back of our neighborhood.  The wet wood really looks interesting in black and white.

Saint Giles church in Oak Park, where we gathered to say goodbye to a long time family friend today.

We will miss you, Mrs. Kenny.

But we will remember you always.

I had to order this beer. It actually had my name on it.
