What else is there to say about a 44-year-old divorced father of three?
My kids are 18, 13, and 10. I was once married for 19 years, but the last few were not quite what I would call actually married. I am sure at another time I will probably get into that in more details. I have a wonderful woman in my life and on many days I can’t believe I got lucky enough to find someone willing to accept me as I am. Or was. Or will be.
And it doesn’t hurt that she’s fine.
We are not married, but we will be some day. But that too is a story for another time. (Did I mention she was 9 years younger than me? Woo Hoo!) We live together along with my two youngest kids for exactly 50% of their time. I refused to be an every other weekend dad.
I am not exactly sure what I plan to write about here, but I am sure I will not run short of topics any time too soon.
Let’s see where this adventure takes us.
I foresee much shenanigans on this blog!

this is why I come to Chicagoland and hang out with Marney’s family… you are all awesome, funny, and appreciate fine food (like fried zucchini)
